All information has been sourced from Mercedes-AMG. Engine choices and horsepower data are primarily for North American models. We focus on all Mercedes-AMG in traditional four-door sedan body styles for this list, not four-door coupes. Where 0-60 mph claims are not available by the automaker, we have used the results of independent tests.
If two models share the same top speed, the quicker-accelerating one of the two has been ranked higher.

2025 Mercedes-AMG EQE Sedan

Starting our list of Mercedes-AMG sedans is the first option from the German brand’s EQ-electrified range, and one of the performance division’s first forays into elevating the performance of an EV platform. The Mercedes-AMG EQE may not appear to look significantly different from the standard EQE sedan on which it is based, but eagle-eyed observers will notice the low-profile 20-inch AMG alloy wheels and AMG exterior badging that distinguish this as an EQE variant where performance is at the forefront. The impressive numbers of up to 677 hp and 0-60 mph in 3.2-3.4 seconds (depending on if the electric drivetrain boost function is used) further set this AMG-enhanced EV apart from the standard EQ sedans. The 2025 AMG-enhanced EQE sedan remains largely unchanged, with improvements made to the regenerative braking system, extended range thanks to upgraded battery cells, and the option for a new exterior color, Moonlight White Metallic, added to the existing palette.

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG C43 AMG currently serves as the entry-level sedan model for those looking to enter the world of Affalterbach’s performance family, but seek the thrills of an internal combustion hybrid setup. The latest C63 AMG sedan has not been without controversy since its announcement and debut, with the decision to downsize its powerplant from eight down significantly to four cylinders. But as one of the most powerful and fastest AMG sedans on sale today, its 2.0L turbocharged four-pot plug-in hybrid that incorporates technologies utilized to bring maximum performance to the Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 racers, there has to be some credit given to Affalterbach’s engineers of finding ways to bring these into a practical family sedan – pushing out power and acceleration numbers within the same range of exotic supercars.
In an earlier review of the C63 S E Performance, we acknowledged the four-cylinder hybrid setup’s impressive numbers and performance, which have been widely touted, though the lack of a traditional V8 powerplant may be disappointing to some – especially the more dedicated AMG fans that believe the C63 AMG’s identity is rooted with a big displacement engine up front.
“Objectively, the four-cylinder hybrid’s performance more than lives up to its V8 predecessor, but enthusiasts will be wondering at this point if this new setup subjectively delivers the same spine-tingling vigor. We’d be lying by saying the four-cylinder matches the V8’s boisterous nature, but it’s not an unappealing sound. The four-cylinder buzzes angrily with some assistance from the speakers, burping on the upshifts and crackling on downshifts. At full throttle, you’ll also notice a hint of whine from the electric motor, giving a supercharger-like personality.”
