During set-up, you’ll connect them to your Wi-Fi which means everything is streamed to the Tapo app on your phone. So when you’re away from your house and you want to keep an eye on it, the Tapo app will alert you of any movement.
But like some more modern cameras, these do not have a battery built into them which means you will need to drill a connection through your house or have a nearby window where you can feed the wire through.
