Argos customers can grab another fantastic bargain this week, as the price of the best-selling game of 2023 is slashed by the high-street retailer. Despite selling by the bucketload, Hogwarts Legacy has been reduced to its “lowest price ever” by Argos. The UK retailer is currently selling Hogwarts Legacy for PS5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch for just £29.99. It’s even better news if you’re still rocking an Xbox One or PS4, because last-gen versions are selling for £19.99. Needless to say, the Argos website is showing that the game is “in demand” and “selling fast”, so you may need to hurry in order to avoid missing out on the Harry Potter spinoff at these prices. The video game Harry Potter fans have been waiting for, Hogwarts Legacy drops players into the famous wizarding school.
After creating a character, you’ll experience life as a Hogwarts student, all the while uncovering an ancient mystery.
You’ll need to go to classes, where you’ll learn how to brew potions, perform spells, and identify herbs and beasts.
While Quidditch is sadly missing from the game, you will be able to explore the grounds from above with your broom.
Surrounding areas are also included in the game, such as Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest.
The game is actually a prequel to the Harry Potter series, taking place in the 1800s.
With your character able to perceive ancient magic, you’ll need to complete story missions in addition to attending classes and making friends.
Of course, you could also learn to master dark magic and become something of a Hogwarts villain.
Publisher Warner Bros. explains more: “You have received a late acceptance to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and soon discover that you are no ordinary student: you possess an unusual ability to perceive and master Ancient Magic.

With Hogwarts Legacy selling so well, fans will be hoping for some DLC or a sequel in the coming months and years.
Perhaps we’ll get an announcement during this year’s Game Awards event in June.
