The Inspired By 500e models will receive Level 2 self-driving capability, with adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist helping the driver on certain roads. Fiat notes the 500e is the first car in its class to offer this technology.
While these little Fiats are undoubtedly pricey (a base Model 3 after incentives is cheaper), they’re not the most expensive examples sold in recent months. In December 2023, three designer models went under the hammer for a combined $300,000, with the Kartell version achieving a staggering $275,000 selling price.
“The Fiat 500e has many facets that reflect its Italian heritage. Celebrating style and culture, the ‘Inspired By’ models emphasize the Italian DNA of the 500e in a way that only Fiat can,” said Olivier Francois, Fiat CEO.
Expect the new Inspired By models to reach US dealerships in the third quarter of 2024.
