We’re talking about delivery programs, or more importantly, factory delivery programs. These unique experiences offer customers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel across the country or even across the world to take ownership of their new car, while also experiencing a bespoke itinerary that immerses them in the culture and the brand.

Bentley’s factory delivery experience in Crewe, England, is a celebration of not only the brand’s history but your new purchase, which is a defining moment in many of its customers’ lives.

Visitors have access to CW1 House, Bentley’s flagship showroom, where the latest models are on display, along with a dedicated commissioning area allowing clients to tailor every detail of their car to their exact specifications. From there, buyers are given a guided tour of the factory, where customers can observe each stage of production before they’re taken to the “Check Point 8” area where buyers will witness the final production stages of the car, and are even invited to personally finish the production of their vehicle.

6 Chevrolet Corvette: Iconic Delivery for an Iconic Car

Perhaps the most famous factory delivery option on this list, the National Corvette Museum Delivery Program is a must for any true Corvette fan. Called “R8C Museum Delivery” after the option code on the order sheet, the program gives true Corvette enthusiasts the opportunity to travel to the Corvette’s home in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and take ownership of the car at its birthplace by paying $1,495 and selecting the ship code “184590”.

From there, you schedule the delivery date two weeks after the production of your Corvette, and you can bring along up to three guests for the occasion. You’ll be welcomed to the facility with personalized signs, and then taken on a VIP tour of the National Corvette Museum. From there, you’re given a detailed rundown of your vehicle’s features, and it’s given unique plaques to signify the special delivery.

Finally, your picture is taken in front of the facility, and you’re sent on your way. You can further customize this experience with a track session or even a scrapbook with pictures taken throughout your car’s production process too, further cementing the Corvette’s factory delivery as one of the best.

5 Lamborghini: Italian Drama and Passion

Buying a Lamborghini isn’t just purchasing a sports car, it’s making a statement. There are plenty of other exotic Italian car brands you could have purchased, but you opted for a rocket ship with a raging bull on the front, and Lamborghini most assuredly appreciates your business. Because of this, the company offers the option of picking up your vehicle at the Lamborghini factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, where you’ll be immersed in the world of Lamborghini with a guided tour of the production line.

The experience doesn’t stop there. Customers are also invited to visit the Lamborghini Museum and take their new supercar for a spin through the scenic Emilia-Romagna countryside after they receive it in an intimate unveiling ceremony, that is. With this, they’ll curate a trip through Italy to your tastes, allowing you to experience the culture in ways you never could have imagined in your brand-new Temerario, Revuelto, or Urus.

4 McLaren: Exclusive Access to Innovation

The final factory delivery program on this list is none other than McLaren, a company that didn’t seriously start building road cars until about 15 years ago, but now creates vehicles that rival any exotic car brand in the world. After you’ve spent hours crafting your perfect Artura or 720s, and waited the ensuing months in utter anticipation for its arrival, you can choose to make the experience that much more special with a Factory Handover.

You’ll arrive at the McLaren Technology Center (MTC) in Woking, England, where you’ll be greeted with champagne and a private viewing experience where the car is unveiled to you. From there, you’re taken to a lunch with the staff overlooking the company grounds, and from there, you’ll have the option of a tour of the company’s excellent museum, adding on track day opportunities, or even driving your vehicle across the countryside (for those lucky European customers, at least).

3 Mercedes-Benz: German Precision and Elegance

Mercedes-Benz separates its factory delivery experience into two categories: regular Mercedes-Benz products and AMG. If you opt to forgo the sportiness for luxury in your Mercedes model, you’ll arrive in Stuttgart, Germany at the brand’s factory where you’ll see your vehicle, tour the factory, and then check out the Mercedes-Benz Museum. In this package, everything is included, including a 7% discount on the MSRP of select models, including a full tank of gas that will allow you to take your car on a journey of Europe before Mercedes ships it home for you.

If you’re lucky enough to be picking up a model like the AMG GT 63, however, then your delivery experience will take place in a state-of-the-art facility in Affalterbach, where the company opened a purpose-built customer delivery center. This facility includes two experience areas that allow you to take delivery of up to five cars, but if you’re picking up something truly special, there are even two available paddock bays that have a much closer tie to the brand’s F1 arm. This ties in with a dinner, a factory tour, and a few other experiences that elevate the Mercedes delivery as a step above.

2 Porsche: Perfection Down to the Last Detail

This starts with the model that you picked (the only ones ineligible are the Taycan and Macan Electric) as some will come from the Porsche Factory in Zuffenhausen or the Production Plant in Leipzig. The former features a factory tour, lunch in the casino, passes to the Porsche museum, and a stay at a nearby hotel, while the latter adds in track time and a lunch overlooking the track. You can throw in any number of other experiences as well to tailor your time, and live it up, because, like others, the company will send your car home with you when you deem it time.

1 Volvo: A Journey To The Heart Of Scandinavia

Volvo’s Overseas Delivery Program offers customers an opportunity to experience their Swedish roots firsthand. When you purchase a new Volvo, you can pick it up directly from the factory in Gothenburg, Sweden on a two-day trip that includes airfare and accommodations, all while taking 5% off of the purchase price of your new vehicle.

While there, you’ll be able to enjoy a factory tour of the facility that has existed since 1954, and then you’ll be able to drive the car around the country for up to 6 months before Volvo ships it home for you. While this may seem like a lot, it does give you more than two days to enjoy your car, meaning you’ll be able to wrap a European vacation and a new car purchase all into one great experience.
