Jeep is going back to its roots with a special edition once again. The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 is decked out with olive drab paint, period-correct stickers, and other highlights to make it an homage to Willys MB army vehicles that helped launch the brand 84 years ago.
If it looks a little familiar, that’s because Jeep has already done much of the same to the Wrangler as a concept. The Jeep ’41 Concept, which it teased at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab in 2022.

The Willys ’41’s olive paint isn’t quite as drab as the original, but the shiny new paint gets the effect across. The new armed-forces-inspired graphics pack, which adorns the hood with Willys/4xe logos in a drab blue, really hammers it home.

Its wheels, though, are perfection. A set of simple steelies (except that they’re aluminum) painted the same color as the body. It’s classic, it’s cool, and the wheels are wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires, a more aggressive fitment than a stock Wrangler Willys. Green paint isn’t the only thing that the old and new Jeeps have in common. They’re both also equipped with four-cylinder engines.
New Jeep Makes More Than Six-Times The Power Of The Original
While the real 1941 Jeep uses a 60-horse 2.2-liter, the modern one has gotten a promotion or two along the way. It has the standard 4xe drivetrain, a 2.0-liter turbo-four with two electric motors making 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

After an about-turn on the final year of the Dodge Durango Hellcat, something similar has now happened to the Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition.
Jeep finishes off the look inside with tan cloth seats and an olive-drab dashboard. There’s also a ’41 medallion on the gear shift. It can be ordered with a body-color hardtop or Jeep’s Sky one-touch power roof, and even better, a tan soft-top is coming. The list of standard features is finished off with a rear locker and steel bumpers at both ends.
The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 starts from $59,930 plus destination. That’s $4,495 more than a standard Willys 4xe, which can be ordered with the ’41 paint if you only care about that part of the package. Orders are open now; deliveries are expected to start by the end of this year.
